Michael Jordan’s legacy didn’t end with his sons Marcus and Jeffrey. The GOAT’s nephew Justin was matched up against elite junior point guard Shelton Mitchell on Friday morning and did not disappoint with His Airness in the stands. While Davidson Day lost the game at the Charlotte Hoops Challenge, Jordan showed why he’s been receiving interest from numerous D-1 programs.
The 6’2 senior combo guard showed that he was able to create shots against just about anyone that Cuthbertson threw at him. He showed off a devastating crossover and was able to get in the lane, but struggled finishing on this day. Jordan had nice elevation on his pull-up and shot the ball well from beyond the arc. Spending the majority of the fourth quarter on the bench with the rest of the starting five, Jordan and Co. ultimately fell in defeat 79-46.
Justin will have one more chance to walk away with a Charlotte Hoops Challenge victory tomorrow against West Craven.
