The Texas Titans program doesn’t end with Julius Randle and the 2013 class. The 2015 Titans are led by Mickey Mitchell, but offer a handful of other bigtime prospects. One of those aforementioned players is 6’2 combo guard Soso Jamabo.
Doubling as one of the better sophomore running backs in the country, Soso is a star at Texas power Plano West. When he’s not breaking tackles on the gridiron, he uses his combination of toughness and athleticism to be a fearless slasher on the hardwood. Able to finish in traffic with either hand, he has a variety of creative finishes in his arsenal that allow him to convert at the rim at a very high rate. Jamabo has also shown that he can defend both backcourt spots, will knock down the open three pointer, and is an ample decision maker in transition. There is no question that Soso is a division one talent, but the real question is which sport will he ultimately play at the next level?
